Hi and welcome to my site!
I am another east coast transplant living in Los Angeles who loves photographing weddings year round without thinking it is going to snow or thunderstorm! I began my visual career in filmmaking before I became a photographer fifteen years ago.
I have always been inspired by people and their stories and originally began my graduate studies at Brooks Institute of Photography in filmmaking. Having to take classes in still photography I discovered that I could tell a story through one image, instead of two hours of moving film. My work has been published in magazines and newspapers: Time, Newsweek, Detour, Venice, People, Entertainment Weekly, Directors Guild Magazine, The San Francisco Chronicle and The San Diego Tribune.
Because of my love of storytelling, a wedding for me is the perfect start to finish visual story. I thrive on photographing natural, honest and spontaneous photographs of your day.
I currently live in Los Angeles, and will travel for your wedding. I have photographed in New York City, San Francisco, Palm Springs, Santa Barbara and San Diego.
